Understanding Neuro Emotional Technique

Everyone experiences stress on different levels. We use an approach called Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) to identify and help you let go of “stuck” mind-body stress patterns.

NET is a mind-body approach to health and emotional well-being. It involves identifying and alleviating unresolved emotional stress and related physical symptoms. The technique aims to help individuals release these emotional patterns to promote overall wellness.

    How Neuro Emotional Technique Works

There are 2 main ways of checking for stress that got stuck in the body.

    1. The first is by testing your body. Touching over aches, pains or dysfunction is a very useful way to find unresolved stress. This brings the brain’s awareness to the area being touched and the muscle test often responds as “weak”, indicating there is an unresolved problem.

    2. The second is by using “OK” statements.

    For Example:

“I’m ok even though I’m unable to take a vacation this year”.

“I’m ok maintaining my ideal weight”.

“I’m ok improving my relationship with my wife”.

“OK” in this context is never a justification of the situation, but a more neutral response to it. For example, one would never want to justify abuse, but would likely desire to be more neutral about that aspect of their story. This leaves room for your preferences while helping you not be so emotionally charged about the situation or drama in your world.

There is also a list of “Top 10” most common phrases people have trouble with. It is a good idea to have these checked and corrected within the first few sessions. Ask us about this today!

The Connection Between Stress, Digestion, and the Vagus Nerve

The vagus nerve, a fundamental component of the parasympathetic nervous system, plays a pivotal role in regulating various bodily functions, including digestion. However, when the body experiences chronic stress, the resulting overstimulation of the sympathetic nervous system, known as the “fight or flight” response, can adversely affect the vagus nerve’s function, leading to compromised digestive processes.
